After Care

Taking Care Of Your New Brows​

Aftercare is Key to getting good results!

  • 1-2 hours after the procedure, gently blot the area with a lightly dampened clean paper towel/washcloth to absorb excess lymph fluid. Gently pat and dry then add barrier cream provided to you. Do this 3-4 times for the full day.

  • Starting on day two, Gently wash brow with gentle cleanser,  gently rinse the brow area over the sink with warm water each night,

  • Allow Brow to fully dry and apply barrier cream for the next 7 days. This is the only time your brows should be exposed to water.

  • Avoid water hitting brow area from the shower head.

  • No water, harsh cleansers, creams, or makeup in or around the microbladed/tattoo  area for at least 7 days (only when gentle cleansing)

  • The area of the microbladed/tatoo brow may feel tender for the first two days. You can take a pain reliever if necessary

  • Avoid sleeping on your face as much as possible for the first week, especially the very first couple nights after procedure

  • Use a clean pillowcase

  • Do not pick, peel, or scratch the microbladed/tatoo area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment

  • Do not submerge to microbladed/tatoo area in water for at least 7 days. When taking a shower try and keep water off of your eyebrows as much as possible and keep a dry washcloth outside of the shower to blot the area in case soapy water does stream into them

  • Try and avoid long, steamy showers for the first 10 days

  • Do not swim in lakes or pools for the first 14 days after the procedure

  • Do not allow area to be exposed to sunlight for the first 10 days and after that it is recommended to put SPF 30 on them, so the sun doesn’t fade the pigment prematurely

  • Avoid sweaty workouts for the first 7 days. Any perspiration within the first 7 days of the healing process could result in loss of pigment

  • Do not tint, thread or wax the procedure area for at least 14 days

  • Avoid dusting or any task in which your eyebrow area could be subjected to dust, dander from pets or animal hair

Long Term Care

  • To maintain the color and pigment of your new brows, you should always apply SPF to the area when exposed to the sun and avoid using exfoliates on the brow area. Examples include Retin-A, Glycolic/Alpha-Hydroxy Acids, chemical peels, exfoliating scrubs, etc.

  • If you experience an allergic reaction or develop symptoms of an infection, you should contact your doctor right away.

  • If you follow these instructions carefully you should expect to see beautiful, polished results that you will love for the next 1-3 years!
